The Royal Oak Inn (located opposite) has two bars - the Residents Bar and 'Jake's' Bar. They both reflect the traditional sporting activities of Exmoor and their beamed ceilings, crackling log fires and welcoming bar staff all contribute to the warm, friendly atmosphere that our guests so much enjoy.
The Inn is a free house which enables us to serve the very best local beers, Exmoor Ale and Exmoor Gold,

as well as the better known national brands. There is also an extensive range of whiskies, as well as a superb wine-list containing wines and vintages carefully selected to appeal to a wide range of tastes and pockets. Our restaurant menu is also available in the bars, for those who prefer to eat in a more informal atmosphere
